Mentoring

Sometimes therapy is not enough. Kids need time to build relationships and trust the helping people in their life.  The mentoring program is designed to assist building strong relationships, increase confidence and improve communication.

With the mentoring program, we can offer goals for children who struggle.  Goals can:

  • Empower a child toward developing personal life skills.

  • Structure in life’s daily or routine activities.

  • Learn how to focus on short-term goals to succeed in school.

  • Provide guidance to address distractions in the home or school which have become challenging to lead a productive health lifestyle.

  • Modify personal behavior patterns which have become so oppositional they are creating unbearable family stress.

  • Provide social skills activities to help develop positive peer relations.

  • Learn to utilize anger management techniques.

  • Identify behavior patterns.
