Lori Fravel, a Licensed Professional Counselor, is a compassionate therapist who takes a strength-based approach to care. She works with clients of all ages to address mental health concerns, behavioral challenges, and the effects of depression, anxiety, and trauma. Lori helps individuals and families sort through difficult situations by building coping skills, improving communication, and strengthening relationships.

With over twenty-five years of experience, first as a teacher and now as a family therapist, Lori is especially passionate about supporting children, adolescents, and their families. She teaches children how to manage behavior, express emotions, and overcome challenges, while also coaching parents on ways to foster healthier family dynamics. In her practice, she integrates solution-focused therapy, positive psychology, trauma-informed care, cognitive behavioral therapy, Brainspotting, and play therapy to provide effective, supportive, and individualized care.

  • Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education – Western State College (Colorado)

  • Master of Science degree in Counseling Psychology – Capella University
