Steven Fricke, LPC
(Sees ages 5+, couples and families)
Steven Fricke, a licensed professional counselor, works with children, adolescents, and adults to improve communication, repair relationships, and develop healthy coping skills. He believes in creating a nonjudgmental atmosphere, meeting people where they’re at, and providing guidance through difficult situations. His passion lies in helping adults break generational traumas, supporting youth in reaching their full potential, and guiding couples through relationship challenges.
Steven’s experience includes work in outpatient care, with families and individuals in Jefferson County, at Green Lake County jail, and in a homeless shelter. He finds it rewarding to coach people on boundary-setting, expressing feelings assertively, and navigating daily challenges. Using approaches such as trauma-informed care, TF-CBT, DBT, brainspotting, strength-based methods, and positive psychology, he emphasizes creating a safe space for growth while continuing to expand his skills through professional development and new research.
