Accepting New Clients

Tia Krueger, LPC-IT

(Sees children 5+, couples and families.)

Tia is a Licensed Professional Counselor In-Training, and believes healing begins when you feel seen, understood, and empowered. Her approach is collaborative and grounded in meeting you exactly where you are—whether you’re navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, or life’s everyday stressors. Together, you’ll work to strengthen coping skills, rebuild self-esteem, and uncover patterns rooted in past experiences (including how childhood and brain development shape our responses).

She specializes in blending evidence-based therapies like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Brainspotting (a brain-based trauma therapy), and Mindfulness with practical tools tailored to your needs. With parents and families, Tia focuses on creating accountability-centered plans that honor each person’s voice.

Tia’s background includes supporting at-risk groups, from survivors of domestic violence to individuals facing homelessness or addiction, and she’s passionate about connecting clients to community resources alongside therapy.

When Tia isn’t in session, you’ll find her exploring with her two dogs, nurturing her plant collection, or performing fire arts at local summer events (yes, really!).
